Word's from your Chairman;
Hello to all SHC members – new and returning.
On behalf of the committee I would like to welcome you to the new season. League has started and we should all be looking forward to an enjoyable and successful season.
We are beginning to enjoy the benefits from the committee’s hard work over the summer – new playing venue at Isambard School, a new venue for after the match at the Jovial Monk, new kit, and an enjoyable open day. The team is working hard for all our benefits and I would like to thank them for their continuing efforts. Keep checking our great web site www.swindonhc.co.uk for more events and updates.
The committee prides itself on ensuring that the entire club is represented so if you have a question or point to make, please pass it onto your captains or directly to the committee.
Now is also time to think of what you can do for your club and fellow members. The club needs volunteers to exist – we need umpires, coaches, captains, helpers, organisers and future committee members. The club will fund training courses and offer development and in return you know that you are positively contributing to the club.
So come on – what are you waiting for?
Contact any committee member or captain, or email the club at swindonhc@live.co.uk and get involved!
Have a great season and I look forward to a positive and bright future for Swindon HC.
Craig Sage
SHC Chairman
